This year, SCW is joining forces with the Slovenian Games Conference, taking the form of the conference's entirely new art track and portfolio reviews, where you are going to be able to show your work to renowned industry professionals with decades of combined experience. Featuring top speakers from various backgrounds, the art track is going to cover a broad range of art-related topics, including illustration, concept art, 3D modeling, and more.

Purchasing the ticket (25-50 EUR) will provide you with full access to the entire conference, not just the art track. You will be able to attend any of the 20+ SGC talks, including some of the art talks that aren't a part of our track. Additionally, the ticket price includes free lunch and drinks, as well as full access to the post-conference afterparty, so make sure to join us in Ljubljana on November 30th, where you'll get to hang out with 400+ fellow artists, game developers, publishers, investors and other creative minds from all over the region!

Iris Muddy

Visual Development, Concept & Illustration Artist, Freelance

Iris Muddy is a forest pond creature and freelance visual development/concept/illustration artist working in games and animation. She is driven by her curiosity for expressing life’s emotions, stories, and adventures.

Iris will be discussing various aspects of the thinking process that she believes are keys to creating more successful images wherever you find yourself on your art journey.

Milivoj Ćeran

Illustrator, Freelance

Milivoj Ćeran is a veteran illustrator, best known for his work on Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering, Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone and World of Warcraft TCG, and the Norse Mythology Art Book, his personal project.

In the past, he has worked with clients such as Paizo (Pathfinder), Sony Online Entertainment (Legends of Norrath), Monte Cook Games (Numenera), and several others.

Paloma alperi fernandez

3D Character Artist, Freelance

Paloma Alperi Fernandez is a freelance character artist who has worked on a number of projects, ranging from video games, movies, cinematics, and 3d printing. Most recently, she has worked on Netflix’s animated series Love, Death and Robots, and on several different projects for Blur Studio.

In the video games industry, she has worked for IO Interactive (Hitman series) and Creative Assembly (Total War series), enriching both of their worlds with some amazing characters.


Neo-Renaissance Painter

Nik Anikis is a neo-renaissance painter with more than 11 years of art education behind his back. His artwork explores deep inner conflicts and screaming contrasts within his subjects. He is inspired by technical perfection and subtle expressions of the human body, whose poetic beauty has the ability to convey a great specter of various emotions and truths.

Nik’s work has been exhibited all over the world, including the Salmagundi Club in New York, and the Museums of European Modern Art in Barcelona, London, Prague, Ljubljana, Maribor, and Miami.


3D Artist at Outfit7 Group

Having spent five years freelancing and creating user-generated content – including some of the best work you’ll see on the DOTA 2 store – Bruno moved to Slovenia from his native Brazil and went full-time at Outfit7 Group. He’s already made his mark on the company’s latest hit, Talking Tom Hero Dash.


Pixel Artist, Freelance

Thomas Feichtmenir, also known as Cyangmou, is an independent artist, art director and art-consultant specialized in pixel-art. He got in touch with the video games industry back in 2010 and by now worked on 16 released games. Some of the more recently released ones are Blasphemous, The Mummy Demastered and Tower 57.

Aside from his work on games, he is also known through his online pixel art tutorials and asset store where he sells art assets for indie devs.


FX Artist & Layout Lead at Axis Studios

Urban Bradeško started his artistic journey at a young age of 17 when we co-founded a video production company with a few friends. Video production was not enough for him so he started dipping his feet in CG and FX. He now works as one of the main FX artists and a Layout Lead at Axis Studios and has contributed to project like Gears of War 5, Magic the Gathering, Destiny 2, and many others.

Urban will be talking about how to get your foot in the industry and showcasing some of his work followed by a lecture on Artistic principals of FX from his Class on Realtime FX for games and cinematics at


Head of Game Art at Outfit7 Group

Jure got his foot in the door at Outfit7 Group by joining the QA team 6 years ago. Almost straight away, he made the first steps on the career path of his own choosing, gradually transitioning to the 3D art department and then progressing step-by-step to Head of Game Art. Portfolio reviews are a perfect opportunity for anyone who would like to get their portfolio reviewed and get valuable insight from renowned industry professionals. Reviews will be conducted by Iris Muddy, Milivoj Ćeran, Paloma Alperi Fernandez, Nik Anikis Skušek, Bruno Monti, Urban Bradeško, and Jure Logar.
